Pages are similar to posts, but there is a little difference between the two.

  • Pages are neither categorized nor tagged.
  • The hierarchy of pages is possible, by assigning child pages to a parent page. This feature is missing in the posts.

This screen provides features such as editing, quick edits, view. It is also possible to do editing in bulk, filtering and search makes it further easy to easily search the pages matching certain criteria.

IDThis is not displayed as a column of the table. When mouse hovers over the Page Title, the Page ID is revealed as a part of the URL, displayed in the browser status bar. It is a unique number that is used by WordPress's database to identify the pages.

Add new page provides you an option to create new page for your website.

You can give your page more aesthetic look with Aione Design Options. It lets you customize header, slider, page title bar, page settings & footer for each page.   • Show Top Bar: You can choose to show or hide the top bar.
  • 100% Top bar width: Select 'Yes' to set the top bar to 100% of the browser width. It only works with wide layout mode.

Search Engine Listing

Social Networks Listing: 

Title: Enter the title of your site.

Description: Create a description in few words.

URL: Provide the URL in the input box.

In the top right corner, there are two sections one for Document and other for Block. The special features of each of these is explained below:


Status & Visibility:

Visibility: You can set the audience for your page. Different possibility includes (1) Public: It is by default and page is visible to everyone. (2) Private: Selecting this option will make the page only visible to you and with special permissions it can be visible to the editor. (3) Protected: Clicking on the radio button for this option, followed by Ok button will generate a text box into which you can enter a password. Only those who have the access to the password can view the page.

Publish: Click immediately link near publish to either schedule the page or publish the page at the same time.

Pending Review: You check this option with tick mark to add the page in the pending review.

Post Format: You can change each post look by selecting an option from the radio list. (1) Aside: It is styled without a title. (2) Link: It is to add a link to another site. (3) Image: It is for a single image. (4) Quote: It is to add a quotation. (5) Standard: It is the default format similar to the text post. (6) Status: (7) Video

(A) Paragraph Block:

Place the block in your post, then move on to the next step (you can also create a paragraph block by simply typing in the editor).

Additional formatting options will appears once you start writing:

(1) Change Block type: You can quickly change the type of your block to List, Heading, Quote, Per formatted or Verse.

(2) Align Text Left

(8) Strikethrough: Add horizontal line through the center of the selected text.

On the right sidebar, you will find block specific options. In this case you can do following changes to the block:

(1) You can quickly make basic text modifications. You can change the font size but using the preconfigured small, normal, medium, large and huge. You can also set the font size using the pixels.

(2) The Color Settings allow you to make important text standout without leaving the editor or adding your own CSS.

(3) Advanced option allows you insert your custom CSS.

(B) Lists: Add a list to your page or post using the List block. Block options are:

  1. Convert to an unordered list.
  2. Convert to an ordered list.
  3. Outdent list item.
  4. Indent list item.

On a numbered list you can indent and convert a list item to create a mixed list.

(C) Heading: Use the Heading block to add a heading to your post.

(D) Image: Add an image to your post.

Now you can add an image without entering your Medial Libray, drag and drop the image straight into your post.

You can click the Edit Image option if you need to change the image being displayed. You can also set the Alt Text for the image without leaving the editor.

When adding an image, you can choose one of the three auto-formatted sizes, Thumbnail, Medium or Full.

You can also use the Image Dimension settings to set a custom Width and Height for the image.

(E) Gallery: Create a gallery from a group of images.

The Gallery block allows you to drag and drop pictures onto your page or post and the Gutenberg editor will auto create a Gallery for you.

The Edit Gallery option lets you add captions or new images and rearrange the order of the images.

The Crop Images toggle will attempt to crop the images to make thumbnails the same size, which can have a less than desirable result. When using the Gallery block, you will want to add images that share a similar dimension.

(F) Quote: The Quote block allows you to easily add a quote and citation to your page or post.

(G) Audio: Insert an audio clip into your post.

(H) Cover: The Cover Image allows you to set the image that will be used for your blog post.
